The 82nd Airborne Division Reunion
Friday 08-22-2008 11:55am CT

Last week the 82nd Airborne Division had their once a year reunion in St. Louis.

Me at Jefferson Barracks at the 82nd Airborne Memorial.

At the memorial dinner I had the honor of sitting at the same table with two
paratroopers who made combat jumps during WWII.

Phil and his bride Bonnie.  Phil made the Normandy Jump on D Day.

Jim and Shirley.  Jim made the Sicily Jump.
Both Phil and Jim were seriously wounded.  After they healed both returned to
the 82nd Airborne to continue the fight in the name of freedom!
These men are my personal heroes!!
